Recipe Tomato Smoothies

    Oh, a contest! And only 3 replies?

    Try this recipe for tomato smoothies:

    Ingredients:

    1 to 1.5 cups chopped celery
    2 cups of halved Roma tomatoes
    0.25 cup of chopped sweet onion
    0.25 cup of chopped baby carrots
    0.25 cup of chopped bell pepper
    2 to 3 standard size ice cubes

    Optional:

    1 or 2 moderate sized cayenne peppers
    0.5 to 1 cup water to thin out the final product to preference
    a touch of salt to preference

    Procedure:

    1) Place all ingredients in a blender and run at high speed for about 1 to 3 minutes.

    Serve:

    1) Pour off into glasses or cups and drink up.

    May make from 4 to 7 one cup servings.

    Sounds lovely, a "California Style Gazpacho" ..

    Too chilly here for one of those now .. Shall make a note to give it try in May when it warms up ..
