Dinner this evening, my husband's work of art, yes it did taste as good as it looks
There was gravy left over and we had a loaf of bread so..
We have enough beef left over for 2 days worth of sandwiches and the rest will go in the freezer for the weekend, served with the left over gravy perhaps in a yorkshire pudding.
This was supposed to be an entry for the last CookingBites Recipe Challenge (Pasta) but I ran out of time. A little starter: home-made goat's cheese and spinach in blue cornmeal raviolo with yellow pepper and tomato sauce. Recipe to follow.

Rib of beef, much bigger than the one I did a few weeks ago, so 18 hours @ 53 deg C, seared in a hot iron skillet then rested.

Ready to go! The beef was the best yet - succulent and tender, like a really good fillet steak but with much more flavour.
I just finished my breakfast so i can't take pictures but I'll grab some from google. My breakfast was some corn cake ( not corn bread)and a cup of green tea. Small but very satisfying.
