What would you choose?

This just one of our favorite dine-in restaurants on Oahu, in Hawaii, USA.

What would you choose?

See what you think:
Oak on the Green
For a nibble, I’d have the olives.
For sharing, I’d have the chili con carne nachos.
Small plate would be the whipped cheese.
For the main, I’d be happy with the fish and chips, the chicken, or the sausages.
If I were having a sandwich, it’d be the ploughman’s.
New potatoes on the side, if I were having one.
Dessert - probably the apple & plum crumble, but I’d be happy with the sticky toffee pudding or the banoffee pie.

I have my order at the ready for when we go back home next June:

I'll make dessert back at our condo later: Roselani Macadamia Nut Ice Cream Sundaes, ONO-licious!!!
They serve everything family size and HUGE!
This will feed us for a few days, easy.

I'm still looking at the first posted menu's
I would go for the Thai seabass. I can't make that at home.
Other than that, I'm not a fan of cheese (except on toasted sandwhich & pizza) so a lot fell by the wayside.

I'm also surprised by the portion size. Seems pretty big to me.
So just a main would be more than enough. Desert... Cup of black coffee or maybe an Irish coffee

And when I have a little more time I'm gonna drool over the other menu's :)

I'm not a big fan of those long menus, it feels like reading a book
My favorite is the minimal approach

Entrecote 30$
Sides:
grilled Potatoes 4$
Broccolino 5$
Mushrooms 3,50$
Sauce 5$

Or
Black cod, Vichysoisse, pumpkin, fondant potatoes

No more explanations, everybody can use Google if he doesn't know. Allergies are mentioned with numbers and picky eaters shouldn't bother you all the time in the middle of the heat. It has pros and cons, picky eaters and their wishes keep you flexible, but sometimes a steady routine is nice. Your actions are drilled and after doing exactly the same things, until a new menu is there, feels awesome

Ok, we just made reservations for our Christmas meal out, so here’s the menu:

They also have a cigar menu and a six-page drinks menu, which I’m too lazy to post.

1. Crab cakes
2. USDA Prime boneless ribeye, with creole crawfish sauce and side of grilled asparagus
3. Fonseca Bin 27 Ruby Porto

BTW, the name of my dad's boat was Dolce Far Niente. (The sweetness of doing nothing).

TastyReuben can I came with you two?
I'd like to have:
Clams Casino - never had that before but love Clams
For my main Lamb please
a side of Asparagus - ya needs your greens!
and dessert would HAVE to be Baked Alaska - I haven't had that in years!
Oh, and may I please have a goodly pour of Courvoisier VSOP - again, haven't had that in years too -
I no longer smoke, but I do enjoy sitting in a Cigar Bar cradling my snifter of hooch ... I do enjoy the smell of a good Cigar.
AHHHH! That would be the life
