Whatcha drinking (2024)?

Local brewery’s version of a basic Bud.
 
Using my ginger liqueur to make a champagne cocktail…a Bardstown:

Kentucky bourbon, ginger liqueur, lemon juice, champagne, and a few drippy-drips of bitters for garnish.
 
Starting the evening’s festivities off with a G&T and a good backyard sit.

Yes, my yard is full of dandelions, but I’m keeping them around for a bit longer because the bees seem to love them. I’ve always got lots of bumblebees buzzing around the yard when the dandelions are in full bloom.

My yard is full of dandelions,
I'm going to leave them there,
The bumblebees will feast on them
And that is only fair.

They fill the yard with yellow glee
And lift my spirits up.
So why not have a G&T
And let's just raise a cup!

That’s why I always wait until late in the day to mow - gives the bees a chance to get to the dandies before I lop their little heads off (the flowers, not the bees - MrsT laughs at me because I’ll actually stop the mower if I see a bee on a flower and let them finish before continuing on - I love bees!). 🐝 🐝 🐝
 
Had a Madtree Legendary Lager for my post-mowing treat, quite refreshing.

Oh, and lest you thought I was joking about stopping for bees, here I am mid-mow, waiting on buzzy traffic:
