Paua pronounced pa, as in tar. Wa, as in far.
I know these are expensive in some areas around the world. Here they are available if you know where or who gets them. I have 4 x 500gm packs frozen.
Daughter is cooking for 20 tomorrow with bbq and will heat these up tomorrow
recipe:
500gm minced paua
1 onion minced
1 tablespoons parsley
1 teaspoon baking powder
Zest 1 lemon
1 egg
1/2 cup flour.
Mix and make patties cook in evoo.
