Sorry folks. I must apologise for not being around much this week. I suspect next week will be similar. I'm trying to get permission at university to study a different elective this term, and until they give permission or not, I need to take both subjects which is 1 more 12½hrs a week than I have studied so far.

I'm hoping to hear from them soon.

But I promise I did manage to cook today as well, somewhere after 25 minutes on the treadmill and before my first lecture at 10am. Mind you we were missing tinned tomatoes, leeks and another ingredient, so my Marmite Stew without Marmite was not the usual version, but it was easy and tasty, thankfully.

The moderators know how to get hold of me if urgently needed.

And today we actually got some rain! 27mm of much needed rain. The fact we were not meant to get anything was totally besides the point, and all of the weather stations around us, got nothing at all, but we were hit by 2 thunderstorms that drowned anything daft enough to be outside and left me running around the house with a towel in my hands whilst still listening to my lecture on Bluetooth headphones, closing windows and drying off windowsills! 😆

Yep, I agree with Barriehie :)

I am slightly intrigued by the marmite stew without marmite
It was in a pamphlet that when my oh and I started university back in 1991. Part of freshers week. Marmite did a booklet of easy, student recipes in this booklet. It's a great recipe that we both love, only my OH doesn't like Marmite (i do) and I don't like veggiemite (he does), so we omit it, and refer to it as the Marmite recipe (without marmite)!
