Most of mine are on a ring. Some of them are separate. The ones that are on a ring, it can be opened to allow one or more to be separated. This is so that if you want one or more, it can be done. Especially when baking.

Two sets. One retro, nylon, stacking, the other stainless steel came on a ring and taken off the ring - almost useless on a ring 😅
Only use any of them for approx measures. Accurate quantities esp for baking always weighed on a scales. 🙂

SS and they're all separate. I only use for rice. I can eyeball everywhere else except baking which is done with a scale.

First thought was "haven't we had this question already?"
Then I read again. OK measuring cups.
I got a set and hardly use them, even less than the spoons.
They are loose, but hang together

They are pretty much the same. I saw the one about the spoons, so I thought that I'd post the one about the measuring cups. And I also thought about the weighing scales, but I don't use them that much. I've used them in culinary arts school, but nowhere else.
