Baking - Carrot Cake recipe wanted

Is there a thread for baking as opposed to cooking? If so I have missed it and apologise.

I would like to make carrot cake but there are so many different recipes that I am rather confused as to how to make and what to put in. Can anyone recommend a good simple recipe?

Mod Edit: I have edited the title to reflect that you are after a recipe - I think you will get more results that way, but please feel free to start another thread along the lines of 'What have you baked today?' It sounds like a good idea!
