Be my Valentine!

I'm open to offers. But seriously, romantically and with love in mind, are you planning any special meals or gourmet treats for Valentine's day? Or maybe tell us your fantasy Valentine's Day dinner.

My wife worked in a bakery for 25 years. She hates valentines lol. We don't even acknowledge it.

We don’t go out on Valentine’s day ever, my massage therapist said it’s one of the sign of amateurs at the restaurant, she told me she was once a waitress.
I do pick up some roses from my garden for Valentine’s Day.
Yeah that's why on Valentine's itself we're having takeout, going to a restaurant is generally a bad idea because it's crowded and the quality suffers often.

Not going to a restaurant for Valentine's Day. As other posters state the food is typically average and carries a premium in terms of cost. I'll be cooking a special meal for my lover, soul-mate and wife  (that's all the same person! 😆), as I have for the last few years. It will be primarily fish-based 🐟 with the main being one of her favourites - Lobster Thermidor; along with copious quantities of Champagne 🍾.

Our treat for today. White chocolate mousse in a raspberry jacket with a chocolate biscuit base.

My husband will be cooking me a nice meal, but since I’m going to be at the barn today we’ll celebrate tomorrow.

Not too sure what he’s making this time - in the past he often made beef tenderloin steaks with a red wine sauce and horseradish mashed potatoes. Not sure if he’s planning to switch it up this year (he wants it to be a surprise).
