'Godfather' of avocado toast chef Bill Granger dies, aged 54

On our honeymoon we were fortunate to visit Bills in Sydney and have brunch in the room Avacado Toast was made a thing.

Shocked to find out my favourite chef and cook book writer has died.

He was, as the Ozzies say, " a great bloke". Watched many of his shows on TV and he always struck me as down-to-earth, practical and full of emphasis on good flavour.
