Black Friday through to the January sales, your bargain buys.

Wrote the post and immediately bought two of these.
I’m not like “oh wow I love that pattern” but I hate changing the duvet cover and these coverless duvets are great, you just wash (and tumble dry if you want to) the whole thing. Good for sneezy allergy folk.

Reduced from £60 to £39 so thats £78 rather than £120.
Not bad as I would have ended up paying full price anyway.

Spotted these last night.

I needed some new and size 10 is my size. I was wearing the winter version at the weekend whilst away in the blue mountains so dropping on the summer version with 74% off was a buy it now job. I love Arc'teryx products and you can't fault their customer service. It is second to none.

AU$50 is £25 and comes with free postage!

Last year when I was in England, I bought a pair of wide papalazzo jeans from M&S, it’s a bit long for me, but this style you are supposed to wear it touching the ground.
Here are photos from M&S

I already have a pointed kitten heel to go with this, it’s very similar to this

So my Black Friday purchase is this for $19.99, I want to wear it when i feel less dressy.

Some pretty funky stuff there.
I love palazzo trousers but that price seems rather high for M&S own brand!

Some not very exciting bath sheets but I’m happy because everyone will have two bath sheets each in the Isle of Man in their colour of choice.
Works well because it stops towel hoarding (children are prone to this annoying habit), so your two towels are your two towels and if they’re dirty well you know where the washing machine is 😂

Love the kitten heels.

The place we get special wood from for smoking had a Black Friday sale going on when I went to order some alder to smoke the speck I'm going to make, so I got a 30 pound box of 10 pounds each of alder, peach and wild cherry wood, the latter 2 Craig's choice. There are many choices of wood. He got the 2x2 inch chunks this time but they also offer 3x3 and 3x6 splits. This is the first time we've bought since they changed ownership, so, hopefully, quality will be the same.

I did buy a Christmassy sweater from Kohls - I suppose that counts, as they’re already doing their BF “sales” - I put that in quotes because Kohls is notorious for basing their sale pricing on a made-up “original suggested retail price,” then claiming they’ve knocked 70% off that, yet you’re still paying $30 for a pair of shorts!

Anyway, Chaps sweater/jumper/pullover, 100% cotton, dark blue, with a moose-and-snowflake design on it in white, and there’s a little red mixed in. It’s the closet I’m willing to get to an ugly Christmas sweater.

I can’t wait for Friday to go get a Kilo Guava on sale here, buy 1 and get 1 free, maybe I get a cherimoya tree as a free gift. Kilo is short for Kilogram, it means the guava fruit is about 2 pounds. I don't have anything that big.
I finally realized I lack the chill hours to grow some plum/pluot/pluerry varieties, it’s time to go subtropical.

I wouldn't buy anything at least a week before, up until at least a week after black Friday. That day is, by design, a complete scam designed to trick people into thinking they're getting a "good deal" but are actually getting ripped off. Doubling the price of something just so they can put a slash through it and put a different price to trick people into buying it. The whole thing is despicable and should be illegal.
