Now here's a wierd thing.
A Venezuelan friend of mine's daughter went to study in France and fell in love with Jean; French dad, English mum. Jean's dad was a vice-admiral in the French navy, but his brother was a pilot.
Brother was the very first pilot of the Concorde!

Back inbtge 1970s we moved house in Gerrards Cross, Buckinhamshie. The guy my parents bought our new home from owned a small engineering comany that manufactured the wire mesh fuel and oil filter assemblies for Concorde. I thought that was so cool.
