It looks like a sandwich to me.That's not a burger!
It's a burg!![]()

yeah - even the vegan ones are murder. I have resorted to 2 open sandwhiches and a salad!Half the fun of an Aussie hamburger is watching someone trying to eat it![]()
You've just reminded me of my youth, in a small town in Kent.don't remember if I ever had a British hamburger?

No pressure ....And now I feel I have to make burgers tonight or tomorrow night

Shame the food was bad but Wimpy did serve their n coffee in a proper cup and saucer which was nice. You've just reminded me of my youth, in a small town in Kent.
The only hamburgers (they were a bit of a novelty then) available were at Wimpy's...
And before you ask, yes, they were pretty wimpy.
Then I went to university in London and, lo and behold., ate the best burger of my life at the newly opened Hard Rock Café, on Piccadilly!

Me neither. You know something, of all the places I have travelled to, I don't think I have ever been into a Hard Rock Cafe![]()
I went to Hard Rock Cafe back in the 90's in Amsterdam and the burger was very good. I have to say though that the best burger I ever had was on my one and only short trip to the USA. It was in Boston. I can't recall the restaurant.Me neither.
Beetroot is not eaten here in regular menu, most American people don’t like them, let alone in burgers. I know because I served many of my kid’s friends and they all said something nasty afterwards like their urine turned all red.I went to Hard Rock Cafe back in the 90's in Amsterdam and the burger was very good. I've never been to Australia or NZ but I have heard elsewhere that the burgers there are excellent. Beetroot is fine in a burger, I'm sure. Why not?
