Poutine tastes like decadence and sin. It makes amazing drunk food, and you can actually feel your arteries hardening as you eat it

And on the US side of the US-Canada border, at least in the northeast. The first time I ever heard of poutine was in my wife’s hometown in upstate NY, just over the border from Montreal, in the 1980’s.Quebecois, but a very popular dish across Canada!

I love poutine so much that I hate eating fries without gravy and some cheese, since I don't typically have cheese curds handy. But I always have a jar of gravy handy. My wife thinks I'm weird, which means...more poutine for me!It’s poutine, but with haggis. Poutine is french fries, cheese curds, and gravy. Add haggis, and voila!
