Recipe Buttery Sweet Carrots

Here's a quick veggie side I like a lot (so does my preschooler).

You'll need
  • About 8 large carrots or 1 lb. Of baby carrots.
  • 1 tbs. Or more to taste of brown sugar
  • 1 tbs. Unsalted butter
Wash and dry carrots. You can peel the carrots or not. I do becausw my 11 month old likes to much on them, but leaving then peels on is the best way to retain nutritional value.
  1. Slice carrots into 1/2 inch rounds (if using regular carrots).
  2. Boil carrots for about 20 minutes or until fork tender.
  3. Drain carrots
  4. Add butter and sugar, coating the carrots
  5. Serve immediately
Use all organic, whole ingredients wherever possible and enjoy!
 
I love this too! It's delicious and very easy to make.
You've put down identical amounts of sugar and butter, when I do it I don't measure the ingredients but I do know that I have a lot more butter than sugar.
