Here's a quick veggie side I like a lot (so does my preschooler).
You'll need
You'll need
- About 8 large carrots or 1 lb. Of baby carrots.
- 1 tbs. Or more to taste of brown sugar
- 1 tbs. Unsalted butter
- Slice carrots into 1/2 inch rounds (if using regular carrots).
- Boil carrots for about 20 minutes or until fork tender.
- Drain carrots
- Add butter and sugar, coating the carrots
- Serve immediately
