I am NOT one to decorate cakes. I try and they never turn out. I have been studying different recipe books that have decorating tips in the back of them. I came across a fairly easy way to decorate a cake. My husband loves golf. So for his birthday, I wanted to create a unique golf cake. Using a small glass I cut a hole out of the cake. And using one of the icing tips I created grass and made a tiny golf course on the cake. Attached is a picture of the cake I made. What tips or advice do you have for beginners in decorating?
