Can’t post pics

I have an issue with my Samsung. I'll upload photos to gmail, and they may not appear for up to 24 hours.
Could this be the browser/cache thingy?
I've got no idea how to clear all this stuff up - any clues?

Could be. You won't t see new data until the browser reloads the website. What browser are you using?

In Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More
    More
    and then
    Delete browsing data.
  3. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time.
  4. Select the types of information you want to remove.
  5. Click Delete data.
    • If you delete cookies while signed in to Chrome, you won't be signed out of your Google Account.

All time is best initially. If you've never done it you'll have horrendous amounts of data that your machine is plowing through.

Pretty sure when karadekoolaid wrote "Samsung" he was referring to his phone?

It's the equivalent of saying you have a Dell laptop with Chrome or Opera installed (both are web browsers). Just to make life more fun, Samsung have their own browser as well, which causes all sorts of issues.

when you say gmail - that is the email application. Do you actually mean Google One drive where photos get backed up to (I am also on a Saumsing phone)? Or are you storing images in your inbox? Google one drive needs a decent signal to be able to backup or synchronise your photos, mine often tries as soon as I have taken the photos, but that doesn't mean they make it there immediately. If you have a weak signal or you have chosen the setting to backup photos when the phone has been idle for 2 hours AND pulled into power, they will not synchronise until the night-time when that is typically, but not always when a phone is on mains power and idle.

That could well be the problem. I've just looked up my internet provider and the download/upload speed is 14.4 / 9.4 . Definitely time to find another provider. Thanks!

Yep, thanks a lot. I just did that. I think SatNav hit the nail on the head; it's my internet provider which is the slowest in the country. Time for a new provider!
