We received this book yesterday, over 600 pages but it is also about history and culture. Looks to be a very interesting read.

Something about the author, I've seen him on tv, comes across as sleazy to me. Don't know why, just does.

I was hoping for a Nigerian cook book called hibiscus but husband says he didn't realise I wanted it? (told him several times!). However, he is forgiven as he has bought us Sunday lunch for two at a Marco Pierre White restaurant. We have wanted to experience a Michelin star chef restaurant but until recently they were not friendly to those of us with dietary limitations.
So excited. Will probably go in the spring as my next trip to London will be for Chinese New Year.

Last year my son got me a stainless steel, high end zester. I thought, is this really necessary. Oh my god!!! It has become one of my favorite presents lol.,
