I'm a fan of the holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Around this time of year it gets cold and I want something to warm me up. However, I like something that isn't as sweet and sugary as everything else. Don't get me wrong, I love sweet food, but not overly sweet food. One year, I was messing around in the kitchen and I made this: Cinnamon and Peppermint Hot Chocolate.

Here are the ingredients you'll need:
1 pack of hot chocolate mixture or one pack of cocoa (like the kind people put in chocolate milk)
1 Cinnamon stick
2 peppermints.
Optional: some marshmallows or whip-cream

Alright, the ingredients are easy enough to follow. Now on to the directions!
1. First, you naturally should boil the water.
2. Put the water in a preferably pre-readied cup.
3. Add in the hot chocolate packet and stir it until about half of it seems dissolved.
4. drop the unwrapped peppermints into the bottom of the cup.
5. Stir the rest of the way until the hot chocolate is dissolved.
6. Plop a cinnamon stick right on in there and enjoy!

Oh! For those of you who don't want to use cinnamon, just skip adding the cinnamon stick at the end. It also makes a lovely normal peppermint tea. Enjoy the holidays!
