Cutting or Burning Hands or Fingers When using Knives or Microwave

Got one. My wife loves it. I just use my chef's knife.
And I was congratulating myself the other day for not having cut myself in ages. Murphy's law (almost): was cooking 3 different proteins on the same stove, so 3 separate spoons to stir. Picked up the spoon for the shrimp and it had been stuck on the flames for 5 minutes. No cuts - just a massive burn across 2 fingers and my palm.
That'll teach me to be cocky.:laugh:
 
Don't feel bad. I burnt myself lightly while taking a plate of hot food from the microwave oven. Ran some cold water on it.
