Damn squirrels!

I have a black walnut tree in my yard and the squirrels love them and I keep hearing the occasional walnut hit my roof or a squirrel jump after them and it makes it sound like they're in my basement ceiling. If there was though, I think my cat would do something, or act differently to let me know.

What I hate with the squirrels and black walnuts is, come Spring, I find those damn things popping up all over, including the landscaping.

Yes, they are all over my backyard.

Those trees, leaves, and stems are also allelopathic. Sux when they're close to gardening areas.

There aren't any left to get on my porch. Ozzie has eaten them all. There's one that hangs out on the woods side of my garden and I throw it seeds. The trees are really close and Ozzie can't see it.

We dont have them here but about 4 years ago my daughter took our grandson to London and Paris. Eli wanted to hide a squirrel in his backpack and bring it home
He fell in love with them.
