Time to bring back 'Dish of the Month'? The last one was in August 2020 and was 'croquettes'. 'Dish of the Month' focusses on an accessible and generic dish, so that most of us can join in, cook and post the results. Its non competitive and there is no need to post the recipe. So far we have had frittata, burgers, pizza, tortilla based dishes, savoury pies, Indian food, pasta salad, pancakes/waffles, gratins, kebabs and croquettes.
As its February tomorrow (UK time), I've narrowed it to two dishes which have very recently sparked discussion on the forum: meatloaf or strudel (no need to make your own strudel pastry unless you want to).
So, would you rather strut it with your strudel or mince it with your meatloaf!? Please join in the poll to tell us which you prefer. Poll closes in 24 hours at 4.23 pm February 1st (UK time).
