Do you have a favorite dish?

Mine would have to be a proper Texas style BBQ brisket and/or beef rib. Salt and pepper rub (nothing else), and smoked low and slow for 12 to 16 hours with oak or hickory (or a blend of both).

Texas Roadhouse has the best steaks of any big chain steakhouse, IMO. They use good meat -- USDA Choice beef.

I totally agree...it’s held true when we’ve gone out to eat in different states. They really maintain quality control. The service may vary from place to place, but you are definitely right about the quality of the meat.

Mine is roast shoulder of lamb, we had it last night with friends. Wayne retired at Xmas but was called back to run their Auckland branch until they got a new manager. He stayed at the casino and has been up,and down nz for s few months. And hates restaurant food.
We had lamb and he kept saying how nice a home cooked meal was. He had seconds.

For a long time lasagna was my favorite dish, right now I don't have one anymore. Food is so versatile, I'm not allergic to anything and my religion doesn't restrict my food, so I enjoy it and I'm always trying new things, I love food. Hot, spicy, traditional, fast food, healthy food, vegan, food that has a bad reputation, it doesn't matter.
Stay healthy
