Do you have a National Grilling Day?

Yep. That's right. Romania has it and it's a great day for all of us. It usually happens on the 1st and 2nd of May, but it's available the entire month. Do you have anything like this? Would like to see something like it?

Actually in the US we have an entire month - National Barbecue Month! I grill all summer and quite a bit even in the winter. I'm with charcoal, don't care for the food when it is cooked with propane.

A whole month? WOW. Here in South Africa we also have a national "braai" day. Braai is what we call our style of barbeque as we make open fires and cook the meat after it has burned down on the red-hot coles. It is a national tradition carried out by most families at least once per week and almost every home has 1 or more 'braai' areas inside or outside.

In the Philippines, I do not think that we have such national grilling day. But there are some provinces that celebrates grilling through their fiestas. There are grilling fiesta for milk fish and other types of fishes.
