Do you have "dry" areas (no alcoholic beverages allowed) in your country or continent?

Urgh rules telling other people how to live their lives, I hate anything like that.
I posted elsewhere in the UK councils in very limited areas where antisocial behaviour has been a problem said NO ALCOHOL but even then it’s not against the law. In those areas the police are tasked with asking you to put it away and thats it.
They can arrest you for being drunk and disorderly though and that’s who they focus on.

Yes, Bethel in the list you included is in the county directly south of me.

Waynesville, just a scant 15 minutes away, was a dry town when we first moved here…with the exception of the country club, which makes one go 🤔, but they’ve since relaxed a bit.

I’m as much annoyed by the Sunday sales laws here as anything - unless you do your homework ahead of time, you’re likely to be disappointed when trying to buy alcohol on a Sunday. It’s ridiculous.
