I'm not a botanist, but I imagine "solid" means "trunk". What do you think?Surely many herbs do form a solid stalk.

I've got a feeling salt is just a mineral we use to condiment food. I wouldn't consider it a spice nor a herb, so I'd have to stick it the "condiment" category.What is salt (a mineral, but it is in the spice category)?
