Does frothing milk+sugar+instant coffee makes it better?

Of course we cannot compare instant coffee to a coffee made from espresso machine. But I have noticed instead of directly drinking coffee by adding milk+coffee+sugar, it tastes a whole lot balanced when frothed. Also it tastes really good even if the instant coffee brand is not renowned.
Is this universal or just placebo at my end?

I guess it will be down to taste. I don't like coffee with milk in it. I drink it black with sugar. My OH prefers it without milk or sugar and would never order it with either, let along both.

So perhaps it is personal taste.

I can't comment as I don't drink instant coffee at all
Plus my coffee is black, no sugar
