The problem is that they charge you to dig up there route from where ever the line is, to the house, crossing many fields in the process. And we're tenants.... the likelihood is that at least 1km of land will need digging up to lay the cables and then no digging in that area again etc. By which time the signal booster and licence with new fitting it will be cheaper.Might be bit cheaper than your $3000 booster if you can get this:

Regardless, living in the Aussie bush you do need reliable communications.
