Had to look that one up on Wikipedia. The history and culinary notes on there sound interesting. Unfortunately my cousin in Saudi died, and my Iraqi friends have flown the coop, so I have no one to consult on this one One of our local health food shops stocks it, as do Amazon, so I may give it a try one day.
Yes I do. And I use it in my daughter's lunch boxes as a salad grain. Its delicious! Mix it with chopped pickled lemon for a wonderful hot or cold dish.
