My partner and I have bought a second-hand wine making kit. He used to make wine and beer for a hobby, but I am a novice. We picked elderberries the other day for our first batch. What other fruits make good wines and which are ones to avoid?

I've seen peach wines, and I always thought that sounded good. I really peaches though, so I guess it depends on how much you like them.
I think strawberry wine would also be good, but in many areas they are out of season. Might be worth adding to your list for later though.
