I just stopped by Lowes and got some new herbs, man they were packed. There's way more gardening stuff available than I thought at this time. I got some awesome basil and lemon thyme.

I had a bunch of puffy bumble bees keeping me company while gardening.... They were also pretty adamant about having sex in front of me. I didn't watch though. 🐝

We have a frost advisory for tonight here--it's going into the 30s tonight. My basil is still sitting in the window (I bought it just over 2 weeks ago). It would be in the ground most likely if my husband hadn't sprained his ankle. Are you guys getting any cool weather at night? A plastic bucket over the basil might be good if so. It's so sensitive to cold. My oregano could go in but the garden needs tilled and I am not the person for that job!

Yeah, I think we are going to see some warmer temps after tonight. Tomorrow the high is I think 70. Might take awhile to get there after the cool temps coming tonight, though. I think it is likely warmer near the big lakes. We are about 40 miles south of Lake Erie.

I managed to till yesterday and got some mulch down today. Mulching is ongoing. I need to get another pile and bring it down the hill.

What I've mulched so far.
