Guide to make coffee on a mokapot

They're simple and solid as a rock. Last forever.
Mine lasted until the ABS handle broke, a long time. I then figured it broke because to center the pot on the burner the handle is closer to the heat source and that breaks down plastic. 😲 The one I've got now, when I use it, I keep the handle over the stove and not the burner, even though it's less efficient for heating...
 
Absolutely. Occupational hazard. Didn't they used to be made of bakelite?
Dont recall. I'm assuming the one I have now is ABS since that's how they're advertised so it's the case of better safe than sorry. They want a stupid amount of money for those now.
