Thank you everyone.
I've had a lovely quiet day with my elderly parents and made and ate smoked salmon sandwiches and chocolate chip cupcakes, washed down with alcohol-free fizz. Tonight husband is taking me out for a pub meal.
I received gardening/food presents too! Red, white and black currant bushes, a box with 100 packs of seeds (some flowers but mainly veg and herbs), and an olive bowl and serving board. I've been truely spoiled.
Off to plant the bushes...
