Hello everyone , I'm a keen amateur cook from Worcestershire, UK, where I live with my wife.

I'm here looking for a social environment to improve my cooking, share experiences and who knows make new friends. I'm not on Facebook and I've got bored with Instagram. My go-to cuisine is contemporary British, Italian and Indian, although I'm trying add more Asian influences, Japanese in particular. Baking is by far my weakest area, so expect a few beginners and "err what went wrong here" questions from me in that area!

Hi, love Croatia, and Slovenia too. We passed through Podstrana when touring a couple of years ago on the way to stay on Brac. We first went to that region in 1984, when it was still Yugoslavia.
