Recipe Home made ketchup

I came across this recipe today, and it looks pretty straightforward. I've never made my own ketchup, as there's only me who uses it, so it hardly seems worth it. I have, however, made lots of salsas, and they certainly taste better than the bought varieties - cheaper, too.

Have you ever made your own ketchup? How did it turn out?

That sounds like a good plan if Arch and I end up with a glut of tomatoes. She has just posted a thread wondering how to preserve fruit and veg.

We really must actually grow some stuff!

Mind you, if your neighbour's patch is over productive, maybe I could practise processing veg for him, in return for a share...
