I've got loads of dried cranberries!
Why? I like them on salads and buy them. Do you grow them?I've got loads of dried cranberries!![]()
You could quite happily make a hot sauce with them. Got any dried Mexican chiles? The acidity in the cranberries goes well with the slightly chocolate-y flavour of dried chiles.I've got loads of dried cranberries!![]()
No, I don't grow them but Ollie's had 5 lb. bags of them for $2.99.Why? I like them on salads and buy them. Do you grow them?
I've got dried habaneros, negro, and guajillo! You could quite happily make a hot sauce with them. Got any dried Mexican chiles? The acidity in the cranberries goes well with the slightly chocolate-y flavour of dried chiles.
On my calendar thank you! Here we go then: Mexican Cranberry Hot Sauce
I laready had this recipe written up, but used fresh blackberries/loganberries. No reason why it wouldn't work with cranberries, but you'll need to hydrate them a bit more.
Wow. Bargain! No, I don't grow them but Ollie's had 5 lb. bags of them for $2.99.
Yes! Ollie's has the occasional really good deal. I've got their CC that racks up points too and just got a huge pack of Cascade DW tabs for 30% off.Wow. Bargain!
Feel you on the produce pricing. Onions are cheap enough but tomatoes are $1.97/lb. or 37.87 of your kwacha.I got about 2 or 3 kg frozen hot paste (different types of chili's).
Waiting for the tomatoes and onions to come down in price as the stuff I froze is far too hot to eat
