I got some heirloom tomatoes, and one of them is firm, and the other is not as much. Are they supposed to start off firm and then become a bit softened? They both look really good; they don't have any blemishes. Just curious.
Agree with badjak They will, mostly, start firm and soften as the color gets deeper and darker. Deeper and darker color is usually better, at least on the red ones.
