New 'threads' are the lifeblood of our forum. The more new threads, the more conversations and the more likely we are to attract new members. A new thread can be a question you have, a recipe you want to share, or a topic you want to discuss.

Creating a new thread is easy.
Go to the section of the forum which best fits your topic. Scroll down the page to view the sections listed on the left side of the screen.
Let's suppose you want to ask a question about cheese. The logical place is the Dairy & Eggs forum.

Just click on Dairy & Eggs, and you will see a list of all the threads posted there.
In the top-right corner of the screen, click the Post thread button.

You will see a new window.
  1. Type in your "Thread Title"
  2. Then your message
  3. Add any tags (optional but helpful. There is a separate help thread on tags (Help - Everything you need to know about "Tags"), and a recipe prefix is required if you are writing a recipe (Guidelines/Policies - How to add "Recipe" to your recipe's title).
  4. Click on "Post thread" and you have created a new thread. Easy!
