I haven't tried this myself, but the tests shown here are pretty convincing:

The "special grease" that they describe in the link above consists of equal parts vegetable oil, butter or margarine, and flour. Specifically, that means:
Special Grease = 1/2 cup vegetable oil + 1/2 cup butter or margarine + 1/2 cup flour
And, apparently, it works better than cooking spray, parchment paper, or any other combination of oil and butter. I will definitely give this a try next time I bake something.
