My fiance and I don't eat pork, so we've been messing around with different alternatives. We've fallen in love with turkey bacon, and beef hotdogs are great, but we were looking for a way to make turkey dogs taste better since they're a bit lower in calories. Most brands I buy have sort of an awkward aftertaste. We've tried cooking them at different temperatures and for different time frames on the grill, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips that may be more effective in making turkey dogs taste a little bit better to those who are used to regular or beef hot dogs? Thanks!
