How to use up christmas leftover lamb and turkey

I have some slow cooked shoulder of lamb left and also part of a turkey thigh joint. Thinking to make like a shepherd's pie with the leftovers do you think it would be nice to mix the lamb ans turkey together?

Alternative is to make a pie and make like a white sauce and add some veggies and the meat and top with shortcrust pastry. Although maybe a creamy sauce doesn't go with red meat? Some other sort of pie filling? Any suggestions are welcome

I often make a tagine with left over lamb. With the turkey, mix with ham and leek in a white sauce for a pie filling

Yeah I think I will make the pie with the turkey and keep the lamb separate for another meal

I roasted a piece of lamb the other day, juiciest, most tender lamb I have eaten in a while. Made some pita bread yesterday and used the scraps of lamb, tomato, red onion and some tzatziki. Delicious!

And yes, there really is lamb under there!
