A recipe card fell out of the paper yesterday, how to cook turkey and trimmings. One of the items is sausages wrapped in bacon.

It says "Serves 8". Ingredients are 6 rashers of bacon and 18 cocktail sausages.

So, that's 2 and a quarter each then?:o_o:

So 1/3 rasher bacon per sausage, 2 wrapped sausages per guest and an additional 2 for the cook who has had to sample them to know they are fine? Of course if the cook is one of the guests, they get 4 which would explain the waistlines of the TV cooks we so often see!
