my point is the politicians who make these policies are stark raving mad.
they cause all kinds of problems/efforts/perils/costs - and solve absolutely nothing.

it's like gun laws. gun laws don't work because, by definition, criminals don't 'do' laws.

I remember when my girls were young teens they all lied and said they were 16 so that they could have MySpace accounts. I didn't know about the accounts until they switched to Facebook years later, LOL.

How are my younger relatives and friends' kids getting Facebook accounts at 12-15? They have not had to submit any sort of documentation on their ages and did not need parental consent to sign up (yes I am sure that they lied about their ages). Maybe it's coming soon...
