Insects In Your Kitchen/House

Geckos here as well, but not nearly enough of them for the hordes of mosquitoes!

Pretty similar here, but imagine how much there would be without the gecko's and frogs!

I sleep under a mozzie net in the rainy season (which is also our hot season)

Timely thread, ants have recently shown up in my kitchen and they’re driving me nuts!

I found an ant trap and put that down, but I think we need more of them. Too bad the hardware store in my neighborhood closed, now I need to go out of my way to buy more on the way home.

That Terro and bait is easy to make with stuff you probably have in hand. Might have to buy some 20 Mule Team Borax.

ant traps are pretty useless IMO. you need too many and have to refill them too often. It is easier and more effective to use something like a disposalble cup with a lid - push holes into the lid near the walls of the cup - it makes access a bit easier for the ants, and then you don't need to worry about topping them up as often or anything consuming the borax that should not be.
