Irish Coffee
Makes one piping-hot drink
Ingredients
1 tsp granulated sugar
1 tsp brown sugar (light or dark)
3/4 oz Irish whiskey
3/4 oz Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
6 oz hot brewed coffee
Whipped cream (or acceptable substitute)
A bit of colored sugar, for decoration
Directions
Prepare coffee via your favorite method. While that’s going on, fill a heatproof mug or glass with hot tap water and set aside.
As soon as the coffee’s brewed, empty the mug and add in the sugars and the alcohols. Give it a quick stir to help dissolve the sugars.
Top off with the hot coffee, leaving about 1/2-inch for the whipped cream. Give it another good stir to thoroughly mix the coffee with the other ingredients.
Lastly, top with the whipped, being a bit gentle as to not disturb the coffee too much - you want a distinct layer of cream. Sprinkle with some colored sugar, if you like (I used golden granulated sugar). Serve hot.

Recipe is from nowhere and everywhere, something I’ve been making for years.
