Jello cake

I used to have a friend who made jello cake. You basically pour liquid jello into a cake mix and bake it. The cake comes out really dense and flavorful, but I can't find a recipe anywhere. Has anyone made this before?

That sound very interesting. I wonder how the cake would come out if you prepared the jello and incorporated it into the batter. I'm sure it would have a much lighter texture.

If you put stuff into jello it comes out "milky"....never heard of baking jello before, that sounds extremely interesting...

Hey here's a jelly cake you bake then refrigerate, is that what you meant? Pretty sure jelly wont set without being cold.
