I discovered along the way that the Joseph Joseph julienne peeler thingy is much better that the Oxo one I have in the UK. It’s sharper and so it’s faster and easier to use. If anyone was thinking about one of these -

This one jams up and you have to stop and clear it.

This one doesn’t jam up and is faster n easier to use.

I think I prefer it to the julienne blade on my mandolin because theres no chance of adding extra protein by shredding your fingers! 😂

I can see that says ‘Product of Thailand’ but just curious, do brands like Oxo or Jospeh Joseph exist in Zambia?
The kiwi brand one was actually bought in Thailand. Maybe that helps in liking it :)
Never heard of Josephx2.
Heard of Oxo, but I don't think I've seen it here
Note that a fair bit of my goods/equipment actually comes from the Netherlands. Been moved here in suitcases by myself and some smaller stuff by friends

I just put the Joseph in my Amazon cart.
I've been meaning to get this style peeler anyway. And I'm betting it will do a better job on the carrots when I make portobello tacos.
I really have to bear down with my current peeler to get a substantial, yet thin slice.
