Hi there. Recently I've decided to try and make my own almond milk. The process I've found involves soaking almonds, then blending them with water, and straining out the solids.

With that in mind, if I dry out the leftover solid almond meal, then can I use it as almond flour? Will it have the same taste too? If not, then what are some things I can do with that leftover almond meal?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can dry out the pulp on a sheet of baking paper on the lowest setting of your oven. It might be possible to use the microwave on a defrost setting but I've never tried it so may be talking rubbish! It might be worth experimenting with a small amount in the microwave.

The pulp can be used in lots of ways . there are some recipes here: 12 Easy Almond Pulp Recipes (Sweet & Savory) | Minimalist Baker
