Lemon with spices

I love to cook with herbs and try new combinations with dishes all the time. I have a few favorite dishes down to a science. I still try new recipes for the thrill of finding that new dish. lately I have taken to using lemon or lime as marinade of just a flavor agent and I wondered if there were any no no herbs that should NOT be added to lemon?
I do many vegetables with lemon juice and nuts.
